last night was our yearly fun of surprising friends with goodies in the spirit of anonymous giving attributed to saint nicholas. this year the boys took the anonymity up a notch and dressed in ninja and camo outfits. 
each family on our list got a bag full of treats, a st. nicholas bookmark, and a history of the man's life we celebrate
getting our game face onwhile we were delivering i overheard noah and ari in the back seat talking about how much they were having. noah then said: "Ari...i am TOTALLY doing this when i get a wife!"
we came home to find TWO friends had joined in our fun this year and left us goodies on OUR doorstep. it was so delightful and really added to the experience for the boys. thank you liz and nicolette!

I'd like to humbly suggest a new tradition. Surprise visit to a friend that lives far away... say in New Mexico. Looks like lots of fun and a great tradition!
